DESCRIPTION

RECOMMENDED USE

It is 100 % solid and solvent free epoxy-coal tar coating for protection of permanent buried and submerged concrete and steel structures and pipelines. Excellent anticorrosive properties. Excellent seawater, chem- ical, soil chemical, salt, mineral oils, aliphatic hydrocarbons and vege- table oils resistance. Excellent adhesion to concrete and steel surfaces.
Self-priming, good flexibility and high film build up in a single applica- tion without running, sagging and shrinking. Can be applied to moist surfaces of freshly prepared concrete and cured cement-mortar with- out any special surface treatment.

Recommended to use as a protective coating on permanently buried or submerged (steel and concrete) pipelines, building foundations and offshore structures.

MIXING RATIO

:- By volume: Base to hardener, 1 : 1.

DRYING TIME

:- Dry to touch: 8 hours.

Recoating Interval

: Minimum 24 hours.

Maximum

: 7 days.

Full Cure

: 7 Days.

: All above drying time tested according to ASTM D-5895.

THINNER

:- Not recommended.

APPLICATION TOOLS PACKING

SHELF LIFE

SURFACE PREPARATION:
STEEL: Remove oil and grease by suitable degreasing solution. Remove
salt and other contaminants by high-pressure fresh water cleaning and
followed by abrasive blasting minimum ISO 8501-1:1988 standard Sa ½.
Apply two coats of (Epo Tar 100).
CONCRETE: Concrete must be dry and free of dust and laitance. If surface
is smooth, it must be made rough prior to application by power tool.
Apply two coats of (Epo Tar 100).

Airless Spray:- Nozzle size: 0.018” - 0.021”. Roller / Brush.

5 Ltr Can for base hardener 2 Ltr.

In sealed container: 12 months in dry, cool, and well ventilated place.
